The Golden Globes were held last night, and I thought I couldn't let them pass without posting something about it, but then I read this blog post about it, and thought that Film Doctor, like they often do, have put it informatively and succinctly.

Very Interesting People: Chris Roberts, Editor
A few months back I wrote a post about a short film that I worked on, written and directed by Chris Roberts, called The Enemy Within. Chris's day job is working as a film editor on different films and TV programs, including work for David Attenborough documentaries. Seems to me like he's always working on… Continue reading Very Interesting People: Chris Roberts, Editor

Failing to Plan is Planning to Fail: writing goals, making resolutions and reviewing life.
The last year has been, in the words of one of my dear friend, a bitch, which rather clouds things when I look back over how much I've achieved. At the end of the year, I generally like to write some goals for the next year. I think resolutions are fine, but generally, most people… Continue reading Failing to Plan is Planning to Fail: writing goals, making resolutions and reviewing life.
2014 in review
The WordPress.com stats helper monkeys prepared a 2014 annual report for this blog. Here's an excerpt: A San Francisco cable car holds 60 people. This blog was viewed about 660 times in 2014. If it were a cable car, it would take about 11 trips to carry that many people. Click here to see the… Continue reading 2014 in review

What’s The Logline?
I thought I'd write a little bit about something that is so tiny, but can make or break your script pitch. And something that I actually struggle with. The logline of a film is a really short version of what you're story is about. It must not be longer than two lines, and it has… Continue reading What’s The Logline?
