In this Ealing Studios 1940’s horror movie, a man goes to a country home and has a dark presentiment of impending doom. To ease his distress, members of the household tell him some stories of their own odd experiences. Some are a little funny, some are just dark, but all are very entertaining, in this film which is often forgotten now, but which had an impact on horror films and in iconic studio.
