I am currently working on dissecting the first book for the blog, and recently watched this movie (this past October). It is actually kind of a bummer I didn’t find this movie until I was older, because I would have loved it as a kid! Great recommendation!

It was a huge part of my growing up, even though it was kind of old by the time I watched it. Great film. I have an annotated version of the first book, and it’s so fascinating.
